The Theatre's History
Theatr Fach Llangefni is one of Wales' most historic and iconic theatres. The theatre opened in 1955 and has been a stage for plays, pantomimes and concerts continuously since then. From the very beginning the theatre has been run by volunteers. We have a rich history but have our eyes on the future and are not afraid to experiment and give new talent a chance.
Situated in the heart of the community in Llangefni, it is dedicated to providing entertainment and opportunities for residents of Ynys Môn and beyond as well as providing a platform for various companies and artists across Wales. There is something to please people of all ages here. With drama workshops, pantomimes, contemporary dramas, Welsh theatre classics and comedy shows included, you'll be sure to find something to suit you at Theatr Fach Llangefni.
